Halfway through June. Here's how to keep the momentum going.

Three weeks into summer and the market is not slowing down. Schedules are full, deals are moving fast, and the agents who are thriving are the ones who stopped trying to do everything themselves. KeyPleaz is how you keep momentum going without running yourself into the ground.

THIS WEEK'S PRO TIP: DELEGATION IS A STRATEGY, NOT A BACKUP PLAN.

  • Top-quartile agents delegate roughly 22 percent of their weekly task volume. Bottom-quartile agents delegate less than 5 percent. The difference shows up in their close rate by August. The reason is simple: you cannot run inspections, host open houses, write offers, and prospect for new business in the same week if you are doing all of it yourself.

  • Take 15 minutes this week to map out the rest of June. Any date with back-to-back commitments is a coverage opportunity. The agents who plan one week ahead get better coverage and pay less for it because they are not posting last-minute.

Hiring agents: The second half of June gets hectic. Post your coverage now so deals don't stall when your calendar fills up.

Earning agents: Q2 crunch is coming. Make sure your profile and availability are up to date so hiring agents can find you when they need you most.

MARKET NEWS PULSE

We are halfway through June and the market is still delivering. Mortgage rates have held in the mid-6 percent range per Freddie Mac, and inventory crossed 1 million active listings nationally per Realtor.com for the first time since 2020, meaning buyers finally have real options. Roughly 16.7 percent of listings now carry a price cut, which means sellers are negotiating and deals are there to be made. The agents winning right now are the ones answering inquiries fast and showing every property that comes in.

QUICK STAT OF THE WEEK

78 percent of homebuyers end up working with the first agent who responds to their inquiry, but the typical agent takes more than 15 hours to respond per industry studies. Speed is the whole game.
